β-BBO晶體—一種廣泛使用的非線性晶體,可在紫外線,可見(jiàn)光和近紅外線中進(jìn)行頻率轉(zhuǎn)換
BBO晶體是重要的非線性光學(xué)晶體之一,β-硼酸鋇(β-BaB2O4,β-BBO)結(jié)合了許多杰出的特征,例如其高非線性光學(xué)系數(shù),低群速度色散,寬廣的透明度范圍(189– 3500 nm)和高損傷閾值。這種獨(dú)特的組合確保β-BBO晶體成為各種非線性光學(xué)應(yīng)用(如變頻器和光學(xué)參量振蕩器)的有希望的候選者。在量子光學(xué)領(lǐng)域,β-BBO晶體可用于產(chǎn)生糾纏的光子對(duì)和十光子的糾纏。
BBO非線性晶體是一種負(fù)性單軸晶體,幾乎可以在其整個(gè)透明范圍(從185 nm至3.3 μm,根據(jù)使用幾毫米厚的晶體樣品的透射率測(cè)量得出的結(jié)果)中的各種二階相互作用提供相位匹配,從而使其成為一種在紫外線,可見(jiàn)光和近紅外中用于非線性頻率轉(zhuǎn)換的廣泛使用的晶體。在這方面,BBO晶體是用于近紅外光參量pulse脈沖放大器的重要的非線性晶體,目前,它僅提供很少的具有高平均功率和超高峰值功率的光循環(huán)脈沖。
